Tim Lak Lak !!!

Rang De Basanti, this film changed my life forever and for the better !! I remember giving the film a standing ovation after the screening. The movie has affected me in ways which I never thought were possible….I have seen the film a zillion times….every time I see it I gain something new from it. I watch the film to get answers to my personal problems, I watch the film to get answers to even my professional problems….(my family has an almost nervous breakdown every time I watch this film, coz in the past I have quit a few jobs after watching the film, so I don’t actually blame them).

My take aways from the film have been too many to list down….

From dialogues that have defined the way I feel till today
“College de gate de iss taraf hum life ko nachate hain…te dooji taraf life humko nachati hain, Tim Lak Lak te Tim Lak Lak”

The word ‘Kakke’…it’s now become almost like my second name…it is also the name I address every other guy with (Dunno Y, Na jaane kyon….)….but it’s something that just caught on.

Something that I know but don’t admit too often is that I am definitely very very filmy. Seeing Mr Bachchan on screen lights up my mood even today, whether it is his role in Trishul , Deewar, Hum or even the very recent Paa, I admire the man for his ability to bounce back and recreate the entire magic all over again after people wrote him off (I guess it is an Indian thing, we love people who come back from behind and win, well that’s the way the nation has been since post independence, always playing catch up).

I have been an underdog for most part of my life, roaming aimlessly without any guidance or direction and probably somewhere deep down that is one of the reasons that I like to go out of my way and help people who I feel have potential and can do wonders if supported. Amazingly it took me nearly 20years to figure out what exactly I am capable of……hopefully I can help others find their calling sooner !!

  2. This is truly brilliant kakke..... carry on and you may become a writer.

And then kakke entered the room. The people sitting looked up and would later swear that they heard the signature Kakke tune. Kakke will deliver his opening line and then as a gimmick give swords to everybody and then say yeh ladai toh ab bhi fair nahi hai lekin..... help maine tumhari poori ki hai :)
